MLC Announces New “Carload Series”
Three Performances — At Just $20 Per Carload
Series Includes ABBA The Music, Blues Traveler, and Country Star John Anderson.
BUSHKILL, PA —- Mountain Laurel Center for the Performing Arts will offer a new “Carload Series” of three outstanding live performances, with admission just $20 per carload* per show, beginning Wednesday, July 19 with the tribute show ABBA The Music. The other two performances in the series are Blues Traveler on Wednesday, August 16, and country star John Anderson on Thursday, August 31.
“This is the antidote to high ticket prices, parking and other expenses — all the things that can sometimes stop families and groups from coming to see live performances,” said Richard T. Bryant, CEO of the center. “You’ll just pay the attendant as you enter the parking lot, and your entire carload of folks will get to see a dynamite performance and enjoy a wonderful night inside the Tom Ridge Pavilion or under the stars on our wonderful lawn. This way, entire families and groups of friends will be able to afford to come and experience these great shows.”
Curtain time is 7 p.m. for all three shows, and the theater doors will open two hours before curtain. Seating is open and unreserved, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons are encouraged to purchase food and beverages at the center’s concession stands and picnic on the grounds (no tailgating or outside food/beverages allowed). Parking lots open at 4:30 pm.
Tickets will be on sale at the gate for each show, or can be purchased in advance beginning Saturday, June 17 at 10 a.m. at the MLCPA Box Office, or through TicketMaster (processing fee applies to TicketMaster purchases).
